Details of the written test:
I. Listening: e.g. Listen to the text describing a disease and answer the following questions.
II. Reading multiple matching 1.e.g. Read the text on … and choose the appropriate heading for each paragraph. There is an extra heading.
Reading for details 2. e.g. Read the text and answer the questions below.
III.Use of English Task
1. Gap-filling for active or passive voice Task
2. Gap-filling with one word only Task
3. Gap-filling for derivatives
IV. Writing
Task 1. Label the … system and describe how it works in about 10 sentences.
Task 2. Choose a topic and write your opinion in about 200 words.
NB. 60% of the points constitute the pass mark
Part II. Oral examination
At the beginning of the oral exam you will choose a piece of paper which will tell you which systemjo label and describe and which text to read and discuss.
First you will have to describe the system on your piece of paper. Then you will have a text to read and answer the questions below it.
